It is a very upperclass practice. Also be reponsible for paper work, ordering the stock. The Doctor is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. Must be able to multi-task after theatre they need to administer drugs. Computer tasks on Exvel but it is very simple things, not difficult and training will be given. Salary based on exp from R15 000 upwards, depending on qualifications and experience. The Doctor is English speaking. The position is open to all races. No call outs. The patients do not sleep over. They spend 4 - 6 hours in recovery room and be discharged. No weekends. Monday - Fridays and Fridays only till 15:00. Very upmarket practice. Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The candidate must be a Registered Nurse with a valid 2010 / 2011 receipt from the South-African Nursing Council.
The position is for a registered theatre sister, someone that has theatre experience. If a candidate can scrub that would be great but not essential. The person hired will need to run/ manage the theatre, therefore they would need to be organised and have basic computer skills, good organisational skills and have worked in a theatre.
