Qualifications

• Experience with web technologies (HTML, XML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax), web servers (CGI, Apache, Microsoft IIS)
• Detail knowledge of client/server and/or distributed computing architecture, router-based networks utilizing TCP/IP or OSI protocols (TCP, SSL, HTTP, LDAP, SOAP).

The Senior Mobile Application Developer is responsible for building and maintaining iOS applications produced by NBC Sports Digital. Raytheon, Ft, Wayne Indiana has an opening for a Hardware Engineering Student Intern to join our team for a summer internship at our Network Centric Systems (NCS) division. The primary duties of the intern staff are focused on tasks associated with Department of Defense weapon systems. Specific tasks vary based on educational background and experience. RTSC's Engineering, Technology and Field Operations Functional Unit is currently seeking a Program Manager in Civil Engineering for its Construction Engineering Organization. This individual will provide overall technical expertise and leadership for contract projects in the design and construction of civil systems. The design team is comprised of engineers and designers specializing in facility design for radar, command and control, and telecommunications system infrastructure environment. This group is tasked with facility design, construction management, systems installation, integration, testing for domestic and foreign customers.
You will be responsible for managing the execution of the organization's contract work for specific programs. The responsibilities will include the management of all work assignments to the organization; which will include planning, execution, monitoring and control. The planning will involve determining program staffing requirements; developing detail task scheduling; developing specific budgetary allocations and determining metric tools implementation for monitoring and status of the program activity progress against cost and schedule. It will include establishing the program goals, policies and procedures appropriate for the task execution. You will be responsible for monitoring the progress of the work during execution, determining remedial action for outside of plan status and reporting to management.
This position will have frequent contacts with equivalent level managers within the overall program team, with senior program management and RTSC Engineering management. It will also require presentations to domestic and international customer representatives.
You should be familiar with the IBC, BOCA, ASME, ASTM and ANSI codes. Job Description:
RTSC's Engineering, Technology and Field Operations Functional Unit is currently seeking a Program Manager in Civil Engineering for its Construction Engineering Organization. This individual will provide overall technical expertise and leadership for contract projects in the design and construction of civil systems. The design team is comprised of engineers and designers specializing in facility design for radar, command and control, and telecommunications system infrastructure environment. This group is tasked with facility design, construction management, systems installation, integration, testing for domestic and foreign customers.
You will be responsible for managing the execution of the organization's contract work for specific programs. The responsibilities will include the management of all work assignments to the organization; which will include planning, execution, monitoring and control. The planning will involve determining program staffing requirements; developing detail task scheduling; developing specific budgetary allocations and determining metric tools implementation for monitoring and status of the program activity progress against cost and schedule. It will include establishing the program goals, policies and procedures appropriate for the task execution. You will be responsible for monitoring the progress of the work during execution, determining remedial action for outside of plan status and reporting to management.
This position will have frequent contacts with equivalent level managers within the overall program team, with senior program management and RTSC Engineering management. It will also require presentations to domestic and international customer representatives.
You should be familiar with the IBC, BOCA, ASME, ASTM and ANSI codes. You will provide direction and consultation on civil issues at various sites and be responsible for technical work performed by lower level engineers. You should be able to work effectively in a team setting. You will be expected to work with minimal technical and senior management direction and at a high level of independence in resolving problems and establishing the approach for a solution. You will be involved with projects from the proposal stage through site construction and system installation selloff.
Required Skills:
You must have a Professional Engineer's license in Civil Engineering and at least 8-10 years experience in geotechnical, structural, or civil design.
You should have a good understanding of general construction practices, including new facility construction, upgrades of existing facilities, and other related construction work.
You should have the ability to work effectively in a multi-task environment, and have good project management skills.
You must have experience with management of A&E design firms and facility construction company efforts.
You must possess strong communication skills and be comfortable in performing presentations for customers.
You must have the willingness and ability to travel about 25% of the time to various construction sites or customer facilities at domestic or international locations.
You must have a current DOD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD is a requirement.
Desired Skills:
Prior electronic systems site design experience and/or prior federal government contract experience.

The Work & Travel Australia program allows you to work abroad in paid positions anywhere in Australia. We provide you with the resources necessary to apply for the proper visa, along with the support and guidance to find the job you are suited for.
Paid positions include: waiting tables, clerical work, telemarketing, sales and service work, production and transport work, seasonal work, and call center work. Working a typical 40-hour week in Australia in this type of position, you can expect to make around AUD 500-700 per week before taxes. After taxes, the net wages are closer to AUD 400-500 per week. Your salary will be arranged directly between you and your employer.
Upon arrival, we will provide you with resources to help you prepare your resume and cover letter for the Australian job market. You will have a consultation with a recruitment consultant who will go through your resume, discuss job opportunities, give housing assistance, and review positions currently available. This saves you 2-3 weeks of time familiarizing yourself with the local scene and job market.
All participants start with an orientation session in Sydney, and are eligible to seek employment throughout Australia.

Accommodations:
The first two nights at a local youth hostel are included, but participants are welcome to stay longer at their own expense. This is a great way to meet new people and settle in.
Salary:
Working a typical 40-hour week in Australia in an unskilled position, participants can expect to make around 500 to 700 AUD per week. This is based on earnings of approximately AUD 15 to 17 per hour for a 40-hour work week (before taxes).
Due to the high tax rate for people that come to Australia on a 416 visa or Working Holiday Maker visa, the net wages are closer to 400 to 500 AUD per week (approximately 368 - 460 USD).
** We cannot guarantee any specific wage. As with all jobs, pay varies depending on the industry, the location, the participants skills, and the current demand for workers. Salaries are entirely dependent upon on the relationship between participants and their employers.
Orientation:
Participants will have an in-country orientation arranged for them upon their arrival. During orientation, participants will be introduced to Australia, receive advice about finding work and housing, and have the opportunity to meet new people. The location of the orientation is within minutes of the participants hostel.
Visa Documentation:
The Work and Holiday visa allows participants to work and travel in Australia for up to 1 year, as long as they change jobs at least every 6 months. All participants are responsible for applying for their visa and for any additional visa fees. The application fee for the Australian Work and Holiday visa is AUD 180 to AUD 190 (around 162 USD to 178 USD), depending on which citizenship participants hold.
Upon arrival in Australia, participants may be asked to provide evidence that they have access to sufficient funds to support themselves for the initial stage of their stay in Australia. Generally, AUD 5,000 may be regarded as sufficient, but the amount may vary depending on participants length of stay and the extent of their travels. Participants should also be able to provide proof of a return or onward ticket, or the funds for a fare to depart Australia. Evidence may include a certified copy of a bank statement or an air ticket out of Australia.
